What we got in those days we thought was normal, but now we know how special those moments were.
All we can do is having kids of our own and try to recreate those blissful moments and relive those through them.
These moments have made our hearts bigger and we should always aspire to make more of those moments for other people we care for. By doing that we also take care of our own wants and needs.

So i won't focus on what I miss, instead I have been given something to aspire too.

We use to go visit people, give gifts, eat together, sing along, laugh and play. Just… Having a good time… The nights felt so much longer, it was a beautiful feeling of the cold of the snow and the warmth of the people around you, seeing the beautiful snow falling, seeing the decorations up and bright, everyone in a joyful mood, just… Everything… It felt like I was in heaven. Until all of a sudden, it felt like reality decided to hit and… It just changed… And now it’s just never the same…

This video is so relatable 🥲. I felt this magic up until I was 14, then things permanently change when you start getting more than simple house chores on your plate. You learn that one day everything you've taken for granted will end. Now I'm 38, and I still see this magic in my young family members, and try to capture some of it for myself 😊. It's hard not to be at least little sad cause I remember those I've lost, they're the greatest gift I'll anyways be thankful for. Part of me wishes I could forget everything and just go back to those days.

The days of my childhood when I was a young man knew nothing much of gaming… my cousins parents would buy me such amazing things cause my actual parents don’t really do Christmas, I remember the days of getting up heading to my cousins houses and seeing presents ready to be open… now that I’m older and my cousins are highly separated and I barley see them…Christmas feels like a memory I love how we all remember the good old days of our childhood and now we grow more and more in life… remember this we may grow more but there is a future for all of us and that Christmas Day will return just wait a little longer till you get older it will happen again.
