The new two-piece adjustable feet make height adjustment easy and a refined body design add to the beautiful finish that any great espresso coffee lover craves. We figured you would want to know a little more about the Rocket Espresso machine and what makes them the best home coffee machine. We figured you would want to know a little more about the Rocket Espresso Giotto so here we go...

The Rocket Giotto has become an iconic home espresso machine since the 1990s where Ennio Berti had a strong belief that the world is ready for a coffee revolution. The Giotto coffee machine, and Rocket Espresso brand, has gone through many iterations since the 1990s to become the legend it is today.

Starting at the very end of the process, by creating the perfect espresso, the engineers work in reverse to create the ultimate espresso machine. Purpose built with the very best in traditional craftsmanship and technical knowledge, all to reflect the commercial machine experience at home. Yet everything about it is meticulously redesigned.

The 1.8 litres boiler construction is built with a lead-free brass end plate to increase thermal retention, and then nickel plated for protection against copper oxidation. The thermosiphon system layout is completely re-configured allowing for the balance of the espresso machine which enables the ability to texture perfect milk and optimising perfect extraction temperature for the tastes and flavours of espresso, without delay. Cool touch Steam and hot water wands are incorporated. While the competition reduce their production costs with less expensive parts, and cutting corners, Ennio's machine is built with commercial grade components and manufacturing processes.

Rocket Giotto machines not only look and are finished beautifully, but they are also well thought of and designed to have a modern heart inside a traditional-looking yet simple exterior. Temperature control is optimised through a PID controller drawing on 4 different signal parameters to ensure stability and optimum results in the cup. An adjustable temperature display allows the user to select individual brewing temperatures for different coffee types and roast styles. Yet they have worked hard to keep flashy digital displays away from visible sight in order for the machine to be at one with the barista, allowing the barista to be present in the beautiful moment that is making espresso coffee. In this case, they have hidden the digital display behind the drip tray to allow the barista to be present and focus on the espresso extraction and not shiny lights!

Always had a soft spot for Rockets - but ended up with an ECM. Great review - only thing missing was seeing that beast in action. Loving the videos guys.

What would be your thoughts on this machine vs the Profitec pro 600. I do appreciate the looks of the rocket a lot but believe the Profitec might be more value for the money

Did Rocket change which portafilters they include at a certain date? We've ordered a machine 03-2022 that is still in transit, but reviews show single and double spout portafilter...outside of this video which shows the bottomless...so not sure what's accurate anymore :/

Im just looking to buy this machine, how much without prior turning it on for 30 minutes like you said would impair quality of the shot?

Hi - thanks for making this video! Just got mine in the US after having one in Europe for a few years and the bar gauge won’t move up as I try to pull shots. I tried dialing the beans differently but the pressure just isn’t moving and the group head steams and gurgles when I let the water flow without the portafilter attached. What could be the issue?

Use the tamper to apply a aeropress paper to the topside of your freshly tamped coffee puck and you wont need the brush to clean

would this be a realistic choice if I was starting a coffee cart doing 40-50 shots a day or is that not what this is designed for?
