These comparisons are so off. To me, only Tori and JoJo are similar. They both have soul that you can hear in their voices when they sing. That's why I love their voices. I would also put Brandy and Jazmine Sullivan in that category, maybe even Jessie J. Their riffs and runs are similar, as well. Tori shouldn't really be classified as a "pop" singer. Not when Lauryn Hill and Jill Scott were two of her inspirations. Ariana and Demi can sing but they aren't the same as those girls. Also, Tori had label/management issues just like JoJo. She didn't just come outta the blue, she just finally got her big break into the limelight, hopefully. So I wouldn't count her as a newbie.

I don't understand how any of this could be taken as shade... I bet some dumb ari/tori/demi stan who apparently doesn't know English said she shaded them and that rumor was passed on and people started coming for JoJo without even being sure about what she said... jojo is literally the best and all she said was there's room for her and all these artists and calling herself "the best" isn't her style even tho I truly think she is the best she was slaying when she was younger than the artists mentioned she's on a higher scale.

I feel like this video wasn't important in some ways. Ariana, JoJo, Demi, and Tori are all some of my favorite singers and I'm happy that they are of my generation, I just wish they didn't have to be compared at all. Can they just do their jobs and sing?

To me, I love all these artists music so much. And to do a collaboration with each other I would say JoJo and Tori Kelly. It's something about there voices that really connects above and beyond.

I actually thought that Tori sounded a lot like JoJo. I thought she was at first when I first heard a song. But the two have differences. Omg. They need to collaborate though. That would kill me. Actually. I want to live. So don't let that happen.
