Lara vs Rojas FULL FIGHT: Sept. 8, 2015 - PBC on FS1

Jorge Lara and Jesus Rojas continued the growing Puerto Rico vs Mexico feud on Tuesday, September 8th 2015 on PBC on FS1. In the end, there could be only one... or could it? After watching this fight, tell us who you think won in the comments section.

The first round was owned by Lara. He started the fight aggressively, connecting powerful hooks and uppercut combinations alternating from the head to the body.

The theme continued into the second round, with Lara's combinations landing consistently. Halfway in to the round Lara and Rojas bumped heads. A head butt occurred again in the third round, which the referee ruled accidental, this time time causing a cut above the right eye of Lara.

The fight continued but the cuts from the head butts to Lara were impeding his ability to fight. After the end of the sixth round, the official stepped in and called an end to the bout because of Jorge Lara's impaired vision.

The fight went to the scorecards and in the end it was ruled a technical draw.

After the fight, Lara claimed that "Rojas is a dirty fighter. I came to fight and show people what this sport is all about."

Roja's disagreed and said if Lara wants a rematch he would be more then happy to give him one in Puerto Rico.

After watching this fight a second time, I realize it was Lara that was causing most of the head butts. Several times throughout the fight you see Lara lead with his head. He only has himself to blame for his cuts.

Con todo y que quisieron protejerle el invicto ya que era mas que obvio que Rojas lo liquidaba antes del 9 el sabado pasado Claudio Marrero le dio un Ko bien feo en el 1er round al mexicanito. Y a este Marrero el año pasado Rojas le dio Ko. Recuedo que Travieso Arce se rajo contra Rojas tambien.

Como siempre protegiendo al boxeador mexicano ya que tenian la empresa de su lado. Rojas venia poco a poco y ya le habia ganado los ultimos 2 par de rounds mas y hasta ahí llegaba el mejicano. Obvio que querian protejerle el invicto.
