Quick Guide: Allen & Heath SQ5

In this quick guide for the Allen & Heath SQ5 you will be shown a quick overview of the desk and its control layout.

This 48 channel digital console features 16 on board preamps with mono XLR connections along with 12 outputs and three stereo channels; two with 1/4" Jack and one with 3.5mm Mini-Jack connections. There are six fully customisable surface layers with 16 motorised faders for each layer.

There is a four band sweeping EQ which is controlled by the select button of each channel and then using the rotary controls to the right of the 7" touchscreen, the rotaries on the left side control Preamp Gain, High Pass Filter, Gates, Compression and Pan.

Additional mix settings can be controlled for each channel by selecting the desired channel and using the touch screen monitor in processing mode; phantom power can be added for each channel by holding the +48V button.

You can use twelve monitor mixes by pressing the mix select buttons on the right hand side of the console.

Recording is possible to a compatible USB Device or Stick using either suitable connection on the top right surface or back of the console. A simple L+R mix or multitrack recording is possible with the correct setup.

how to send fx to my monitor/auxes??? bcause i try to sent it but not hear... i try to up the return fx fader on all aux but dont have... please help me....
