I remember when 7 Degree Taylor Made Burner Plus metal woods came out & I would cut mine to 41 inches with an X100 shaft & that thing off the deck was a beast - as I grew up playing SeaSide courses - the low trajectory in the wind was perfect

Okay I'm going to take this knowledge and information... I'm going to go to 6 random golf courses around our city and take a lesson... Focusing on how to hit the driver, as soon as the instructor indicates they want me to bend over and put a t in the ground I'm doing the pregame routine G toss, walking up an absolutely crushing it! Immediately turning around irregardless of where the ball goes and leaving the lesson and the instructor completely baffled..

This actually makes a lot of sense. I am a picker with all my swings. I don’t take divots with my irons and have much more success hitting DOD compared to everyone I’ve played golf with and it seems like it may be because I don’t hit down on the ball with any club (for better or worse😂)

Literally just watched your first DOD tutorial this morning after a couple lucky stripes with the sim2 off the deck thinking to myself... do I just suck with the driver because I've always been a tee using weasel? This seriously couldn't have dropped at a better time. I'm ready to save my knees and stay outta the trees.

As a tee using weasel I find this helpful. DOD shots are a part of my range routine now. I do 3WOD quite well, but it is better suited for the job. I can hit my 3W 275, but for some reason I can’t stop teeing up that driver (probably the fact I can hit it over 300)
