Five Nights at Freddy's: Blood and Gears is a ground up reimagining and reinterpretation of the original FNAF game's story. It keeps the key events from the original franchise that makes FNAF, well, FNAF, but puts a unique and more grounded spin on them that we believe fans will enjoy. It also features a new storyline and cast of characters completely different from any previous FNAF games, official or fanmade. You have to appreciate the atd. When you use your light, the fur of the animatronics shine, and when you press jump, the button on the arcade machine reacts and goes down.

Love that the buttons on the arcade cabinet react to your keyboard inputs. The game is also reflected on the surface of the cabinet. Great attention to detail!

9:20 the colorful checker pattern on the walls in the mini game is actually from Chuck E. Cheese's. It was first introduced in 1988 at Showbiz Pizza Place and added to the walls during a new remodel. By 1990, Showbiz Pizza rebranded to Showbiz Pizza Time Inc. and owned Chuck E. Cheese's. They started remodeling every Showbiz and Pizza Time Theatre location with this remodel (By this time they renamed it to Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza) to make the brands look alike. By the early 90s, Showbiz Pizza and their animatronic band, The Rock-A-Fire Explosion were completely phased out and replaced by the Chuck E. Cheese's brand and characters. They continued to use the checkers until 1995, but only on packaging, exterior facades, and even interior signage. The last place you could see the checkered exterior was the Chuck E. Cheese's in Northridge California... Which Dawko got to visit some years ago! It was remodeled in November and they kept the stage after the fans fought to keep it.

Oh my gosh I ADORE the designs used in this game!!! The animatronics look genuinely cute and soft, which makes sense for a kids establishment! Yet they still have that dead-yet-alive look in their eyes that makes the FNAF animatronics stand out! Major props to the designers and modelers!

First of all, these graphics are incredible and the art style and character designs are very impressive. One thing that really stood out to me is that there are finally full-on conversation going on in the phone calls! You can not only hear the person calling you, but you can now hear the player's character talking to them as well! Such a small detail, but it adds so much!
