The biggest rule change that would benefit Tennessee is when players “cramp” on defense they have to sit out the rest of the drive, or at least until a change of possession. Defenses stay dropping like flies once Tennessee offense gets into Rhythm.

Never knew why college hashes were positioned differently in the first place. Or why they have the most ridiculous overtime a person could think of. Although admittedly the hashes in college do make place kicking more interesting. Especially left hashes for righties and vise versa

Other than messing with the routines of every college marching band, moving the hash marks closer together would only make kicking a field goal a lot easier. Espeically on some of those very sharp, weird angles the place kickers sometimes get. I've seen teams take a delay of game penalty or two just to give their kicker a better angle on the goal posts.

It essentially eliminates a variable that can cause problems for coaches, and which also opens up the playbook and makes college more interesting. They just want it so their jobs can be easier. Laaame
