The Guatemalan Genocide Trial: A Sign of Hope in a Fog of Neocon Discourse

On October 13, 2015, the Boston College Center for Human Rights and International Justice hosted this event with Guatemalan activist Claudia Samayoa. Ms. Samayoa illuminates the social and political climate of the trial of Efraín Ríos Montt, and will speak to its importance to many in the Mayan community looking for some semblance of justice from the atrocities committed during the war.

The Center for Human Rights and International Justice at Boston College addresses the increasingly interdisciplinary needs of human rights work.
