Epic reunion duet with my HS bestie and singing partner, Sieg Santos!
We haven’t sung together in more than 20 years. Thankfully, their church asked us to record this (intercontinental) duet as a special number, with him located in Pasig and myself in Orlando, FL.

This song holds an especially meaningful place in my heart. Aside from the fact that Sieg and I sang this A LOT for chapel services when we were in high school, I first sang this song years before that as a solo.

It was a mid-week service on my mom’s birthday. I was scheduled to sing this song that night. It just so happened that it was the same day of a devastating and tragic accident. The song, to me then, a teenager, was like a balm- like the Lord knew we needed to hear the words of the song:

God is too wise to be mistaken,
God is too good to be unkind.
So when you don’t understand,
When you don’t see His plan,
When you can’t trace His hand,
Trust His heart.

I also got to record this track for my first album as a 15year old and I have carried this song with me through all the years of my life.

I hope that you know Christ as your Savior and Lord. He is the only one that can give you peace. I hope that you know His word, because that is the only way to know the heart of the Father, His great love for us, and the Sovereignty of His grace.
