I have taught English to 16-19 year olds for seven years - mostly boys doing construction or science at college. I have found that the most challenging aspect for them is using their imagination and producing written work that meets the grammar and punctuation standards without over-using the techniques just to prove that they understand them. It's the ability to write with discernment and finesse that makes the difference.

I am definitely going to be looking at their junior curriculum. We are trying to have a more relaxed year because the curriculum we have used for the last 2 years was not a good fit at all last year. We were completely stressed out all day every day.
