STYLE OF YOGA:
SAFE – CREATIVE – LIFE CHANGING YOGA. We teach a mindful breath-centered flow practice that blends Vinyasa flow and therapeutic Viniyoga (moving in and out of postures before holding). We believe a Yoga practice should always be adapted to suit the needs of the student (s) and modifications should always be offered in a group class. We place a strong emphasis on safe and creative sequencing and taking time to prepare the body for deeper / advanced postures. We highly value the spiritual and philosophical aspects of Yoga and incorporate deeper meaning and intention into every practice. Students will gain experience in all levels of yoga from Restorative and Beginners to Power and advanced postures.

PHILOSOPHY OF YOGA:
We understand that Yoga is much more than just a physical practice. Yoga is a way of life and it is a practice of awareness. By becoming more aware of how we interact with the world, we can consciously create practices that help us to create the lives we desire. Thus Yoga is a practice of self-reflection and self-refinement. On the Yoga mat, we create new practices to improve our neuro-muscular patterning and improve physical, mental and emotional health. Over time, we learn to take this awareness off the mat and consciously improve many other aspects of our lives. Such as: our relationships with friends and family, our methods of communication, our relationship with food, our careers etc, so that we can create happy, healthy and balanced lives.
