For this film we will fly with Captain Sophie and First Officer Shaima on the Airbus A380 roundtrip from Abu Dhabi to Paris CDG. Each of the ladies will operate one of the flights, explain and present all their work, the aircraft they fly and talk about their career and how they ended up on the A380.

My cousin was a commercial pilot and it is a career that takes over your life. Complete physicals, training, tests and flight simulations every 6 months. Bidding for blocks of flight times, the right frame of mind, dealing with the physical toll on your body and balancing family life. All pilots deserve respect and these ladies are fine representatives of the profession!

After 22 years in the air force, the Airbus A380 is the most modern cockpit I've ever seen. I knew they were switching from yoke to side stick controller. What I didn't expect was pull out keypad and multiple video screens that show everything including external cameras and airport ground maps. Cuts out having all that paperwork trying to find airport taxi maps. Funny thing is I understand what Abu Dhabi Ground is saying. Even the guy running the tug... I am very impressed as to the beauty of the pilot and her great intelligence. It's easy to think women in that side of the world still aren't allowed to drive or go to school. Oh yeah, the Airbus A380 is the largest commercial aircraft which since this video, has been retired by most airlines because of efficiency. And this aircraft is run with such a small cockpit!

This is a whole new perspective on when you fly around the world. I think everybody that takes these kinds of trips should know the professionalism of the crew. It is remarkable more women are flying you from one point to another with precision. These people are top notch professionals. And they don't get paid enough.
