We all need time alone. Ive never been married. Came from a household without a father or a father figure. My mom was a very strong and independent woman. I try to explain to my girl that I love and care for very much that sometimes I just need time alone and space. She takes offense. I have had problems in the past where a relationship has completely stripped the both of us of our individuality because we revolved around each other. I feel bad asking for time alone. Im a truck driver. So Im very use to being alone and doing it by myself. I dont expect that from her. Im here for her when she needs me or wants me. She thinks there is something wrong when there isnt. Hard to explain.

Everyone needs alone time. The mistake often made by men is believing that women get their alone time doing household chores. They resent women for wanting a partnership in these tasks. However, chores are a burden. If you want a happy relationship, work together on chores so that they get finished in half the time, and both enjoy some alone time.

And women just like men think would like a trip to Pluto sometimes when men want to have a serious relationship with a lady when she isn't ready for a serious relationship.... Is it just me, or do I notice some strange phenomenon that women are trying to make men more emotional these days? If they are, it needs to be stopped quickly. Just because women enjoy constant drama and dwelling on every single problem, it doesn't mean men do, and it definitely doesn't work for them. The days are slipping when men approached problems with a positive can do attitude, dealt with it, and moved on. Its little wonder more young men are sent to prison angry emotional wrecks from single mother households with no positive father figures in their lives. Im in no way 100% blaming women for this, and believe the genders need each other, but there are certainly times women need to recognise they are not helping matters
