Blinken Wraps up Israel Visit, UN Resolution on Houthi Rebels, and Last GOP Debate Tonight #shorts

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken wrapped up his latest visit to Israel by emphasizing that civilians should be allowed back in the Gaza Strip as soon as possible. He also renewed his call for Palestinians to control Gaza after the war, and for the region to work together to attain a Palestinian State.

One day after Iranian-backed Houthi rebels fired 21 missiles and drones at commercial ships in the Red Sea, the U.N. has scheduled a vote on a U.S. resolution condemning the attacks and calling for an immediate halt.

And candidates Haley and DeSantis will take the stage alone tonight in a debate that could decide the alternative to Trump for GOP voters. It’s the last debate before Iowa’s caucuses begin on Monday.

I think that's his indirect way of saying that Israel should end the war as soon as possible. He should call for the civilians to be temporarily removed from Gaza so Israel can finish Hamas without being hindered by the presence of civilians.

What I do appreciate about Blinken is that he is the ONLY ONE I've seen who has actually called for Hamas to surrender.
