I bought 1-Star PS4 Consoles... ☠️

Amazon has a TON of listings for Renewed video game consoles, and most of them have tons of 1 star reviews. So I bought a handful of different PS4 consoles to see if these 1 star reviews are accurate! I bought a PS4, PS4 Pro, Spiderman PS4 Pro, and a weird Last of Us PS4 bundle.

No I never brought a console from Amazon...But I did buy my PS5 off eBay....the system was fairly new. But then I discovered the disc drive didn't work. Instead of returning the system. I went & gotten the disc drive replaced & it's been my best friend since...works lovely. I always thought Amazon pricing was a little high....

I had a pretty similar scummy situation 2 years ago. I remember buying a PSP for 320 BGN (which I assume it's 150$) claiming to be in "excellent" condition. The whole console was so scratched it looked like someone gave it to a dog, the screen was turning off at random with the brightness automatically changing, the hold trigger at the bottom being the start button (which rendered most of the games unplayable) and half of the games not working because of corrupted save data. Thankfully I was able to successfully able to sell it back and buy a PS Vita in better condition (minus the charging cable being taped)

Was looking for a 360 to have as an extra console to use, looked on Amazon saw their prices, immediately checked eBay and found a Complete in box 2007 360 Elite all original cords and controller, sealed manuals, all original packaging, and even the 2 bonus games that came with it. All for $58 bucks. Plus was only 3 hours away from my house. Never looking back at Amazon, DKoldies, GameStop, etc for older consoles, Ebay for life!

You can mute the turn on beep via options menu

Im 80 percent sure when you turn on a Playstation (any of them) if the OS is not set up it doesn't beep.
It only beeps because the OS tells it to beep.

I recently purchased a new ps5 pro from Amazon and it arrived opened, the seal was cut and a piece of tape was put over the factory seaI, I didn’t bother to take the console out of the box, I just returned it, and they took forever to refund me the money.

Jesus, in 2016 I put new thermal paste and took my PS4 apart cleaned inside it with iPa and sold it for 80 bucks and these guys are charging so much for crappy PS4s smh
