Very sound advice! I am a homeschool mom of a 15 year old son. We have been working diligently to learn Hebrew and now we're venturing into Greek. I'm using the Greek Vocab Pack as a tool to assist in instruction.

I started self learning roughly a year ago and I turned 23 today. Watching this channel has been a huge help and motivater to me.

Learn Greek when you are young. But if you aren’t young, learn when you are older 😊

To me, learning a language "young" means preschool, or maybe grade school. Imagine my shock when you mentioned the pressures of raising a family & a career ; )

Erasmus started learning Greek at 32.
So did I!

I wanted to learn Greek when I was young but attending seminary or university was the only real option in the 90s. I'm now teaching myself at 50 because the technology has advanced and there are plenty of options online now. As someone who had been a student of the word, it makes a lot of sense to learn Greek and Hebrew. I'm 1/2 way through Blacks grammar after studying it for 2 months and I'm pretty confident I will be able to finish the Greek New Testament in 1-2 years. If some one feels like they would like to learn Greek but can not do it on their own the Biblical Mastery is probably a good option.

I thought you meant "before teenage". I was not a believer at that age, but started learning Greek and Hebrew in university (not by taking courses).

Is there a recommendation on how many irregular verbs principal parts that should be memorized?

What’s considered “young”? I’m 34 but I already feel like I’m too old to start learn Greek 😅

Hey can you explain the difference in Greek used in Hebrews 5:12 versus 1 Corinthians 3:2? Seems like the words of Paul but in a different style of Greek.
