The Art of Racing in the Rain | Full Scene | 20th Century FOX

Based on the best-selling novel by Garth Stein, THE ART OF RACING IN THE RAIN is a heartfelt tale narrated by a witty and philosophical dog named Enzo (voiced by Kevin Costner). Through his bond with his owner, Denny Swift (Milo Ventimiglia), an aspiring Formula One race car driver, Enzo has gained tremendous insight into the human condition and understands that the techniques needed on the racetrack can also be used to successfully navigate the journey of life. The film follows Denny and the loves of his life - his wife, Eve (Amanda Seyfried), their young daughter Zoe (Ryan Kiera Armstrong), and ultimately, his true best friend, Enzo.

This is probably the best movie I've ever seen. I cried a lot and at the end I could barely breath, but then again I was watching it with my two golden retrievers! Highly recommended!!

In the book he wasn’t a golden retriever. I’m glad they made him a golden in the movie. It reminds me of my journey with my golden who’s now going for 12 years. He’s my everything and perhaps I’m biased but there’s just something special about Goldens. I loved the book and I love the movie.

I watched this with my "Enzo", Mustang, in my lap and my wife curled up under me last year.
American Staffordshire. He's in a few videos of mine.
I got a call July 2nd at work, on my birthday. He'd been hit by the mailbox. Gone instantly.

He went everywhere with me. I work at O'Reilly Auto Parts and he went there as well when I was off and just kicking rocks.

He left an empty space in our lives I don't know how to fill. This hit me hard to rewatch. I miss my side kick, my team mate, and my friend.

So.. I shed tears. With snot. Bawled and ugly cried. In front of my BROTHER. This movie has everything that I love -racing, dogs, a little bit of tasteful romance, intense emotions. What a movie. Hell, it even has Sebastian Vettel (and Kimi Raikkonen) in it. This is definitely the type of movie that you rewatch every weekend but never get tired of. Loved it through and through.
