It was a cartoon that tried to teach kids moral lessons, and this not only set it apart, but gave the show a lasting legacy. I absolutely LOVED the Thundercats. Racing home after school to catch an episode and then talking about said episode the next day at the schoolyard. And to this day, I still think the Silverhawks were the Thundercats in space. 😄

I personally loved the arc where lion-o has to defeat chetara in a race, defeat panthro in strength, tigra in mind games and illusions, the wilykids in tricks and finally kick mum-ras without the sword of omens. That to me was peak Thundercats. Also loved the female cop from space that came from time to time to have adventures with lion-o. I was like: yes, take lion-o to space before chetara scratches your eyes out.

Looking back over the years, watching the thundercats and those moral lessons that each episode had, has definitely had a lasting impact on my life, I always have tried to carry my self with those lessons in my heart some times more successful then others and I still love the show to this day

Mumm-Ra was one of the most badass cartoon villains of the 80's. Would have loved a crossover with He-Man to see what shenanigans him and Skeletor could get up to.

ThunderCats was one of my favorite cartoons as a kid, the high-action intro got me psyched.

As long as the movie is being made by people who truly love the show and are determined to maintain its integrity for the production, then I can see a live-action version doing really well!

I loved Thundercats, and still do. I'll put it out here, I loved Snarf, and watching the whole 130 eps again recently, I'm 43, made me love the show even more. season 2 goes a bit off the rails, but it's still good. and I even recently tracked down a genuine 1986 LJN plush Snarf! yes, cost me a bit from a seller on EBay, but the plush snarf is everything I remember from seeing him in Hamleys toy shop back in the 80s and I wanted to give him a home then, but didn't have the money. Snarf is going nowhere, this is his Final home. "Snayayayarf." *smile*

The intro has one of the most incredible pieces of animation ever made. I also think the idea of them loosing their planet and landing on a new one was really cool. Mumm-Ra even dough evil had a good side, he showed when he lost his dog. The scenery animation was also top notch, and the music… just amazing.

Thundercats was my favorite cartoon to watch after school. Panthro was my favorite, mostly because he reminded me of my oldest brother, who is a martial artist, uses nunchaku, and has a shaved head.

I"m an older mother (43 when my son was born), I loved watching Thundercats in the 80s. When my son got a lion binkie, it was named Lion-o.

I loved the Thundercats as it was one of the best 80s cartoon in a long list of great ones. It comes on Hulu and a live action movie is long overdue.

All I know is that Cheetara with her ... well ... "extremely good posture", was my first boyhood crush.
