Hi!

I am about to build almost the verbatim copy of your system, and, just as you, would like the electric fuel pump to work for several purposes: a circulating pomp for the polisher, a potential backup for the mechanical pump on the engine, and as an emergency measure to augment the power of the mechanical pump in case I really have to push the fuel through some clogged filter.

What I am struggling with is choosing a pump that would not be an obstacle for the mechanical pump when not working. I could not find any information that would facilitate choice, or a statement such as "any would do" vs "I need some specific one".

Would you please comment on your experience?
