disappointed. red delicious is terrible due to finding genes for looks over everything else. they last long but the flavor is its worst quality. it’s supposed to be food, not decor.

They said on NBC News Gala beat out red delicious for the first time. Red delicious seems mealy to me. Not juicy either. Fuji is much better and the newer Cosmic crisp is sweet and juice to the limit, but too expensive to eat all the time.
