After so many long years of waiting, we finally have a real 2160p/4K ultrawide monitor, along with this amazing curved/straight dual mode feature. I've been using LG C/G series TV as my main monitor since 2021, and now seriously considering this as the first true monitor to buy since then...

You're the only one to go over the screen sizes preset in this monitor. Thank you for this!

This is by far the best video about the monitors yet 🙂 thank you
I hope the 45GX990A wont take much longer to release ❤ May is fine

These monitors may have DP 2.1 BUT it isn't the full bandwidth version. LG removed all references to it after it got pointed out last month, so if anyone's looking at this thinking they're future proofing themselves please understand you are not (at least not without DSC.) That said I'm still excited that we've finally hit 2160 on the vertical resolution. 1440p is barely enough, even though I adore my Odyssey G9 OLED.

the ONLY question that matters is: is the bendable one VESA mountable?

OLED have exceptional pixel response times, which is great for gaming.

It's just unfortunate how the various companies selling OLED monitors refuse to make a sensible model. I guess it's to keep the market open for improvement so people are in a perpetual "need to upgrade" -cycle. I just want someone to make a 38-39" ultrawide with a PPI above 100 that's either flat or has a gentle curve like 2000R.

Amazing, definitely want one.
Although I'd prefer a QD-OELD at this resolution and size.

How is text readability for home office use? For context i'm coming from a 5k 27" Studio Display used with a Macbook that's great for productivity but very noticable blooming when watching tv shows/movies and i'm not much of a gamer.

2:50 isn't 2560x1080 a quarter and not half the resolution?

I think it’s because OLED response times are so fast that the benefit for gaming is so much greater than it benefits TVs. I have an OLED gaming monitor and even though I am not a fan of QD-OLED for text rendering because of the subpixel layout, I love the gaming performance of this monitor I got for $400 right before Christmas.

Is it motorized or does it use piezoelectric parts to bend? Seems like that will be a common point of failure.

Will wait for the 240hz version, 165hz always been a strange in-between refresh rate. Would suck to drop £1k+ on this only for the refreshed 240hz model to come out 6-8 months later.

Is the 45” 5k2k taller than the 40” 5k2k?

Is the color accuracy on this monitors the same as the lg g4 by any chance

I find it weird that LG and Asus haven't announced any new WOLED glossy monitors considering the 27" glossy one they released seemed to be selling well (at least according to Amazon numbers).

I really hope this 5k2k comes in a glossy variant.

Bendable model curve can adjust any curve ? Or only flat and 900 curve. Or you can do 1800 curve?
