$1400 Stimulus & PPP Update: Where We Stand

President Biden has made some major changes to the PPP 2-25 including a narrowed window for the smallest businesses and a new calculation where eligible people can use their gross income to calculate their PPP loan.

PPP News
Congress has approved $284 billion for another round of PPP loans. PPP loans are forgivable loans meant to go to small businesses to keep their employees hired.

In order to get a PPP loan forgiven.. Meaning the ability to have to loan balance wiped out without having to pay it back you have to spend it on specific items.

Applicable expenses are:
Gross salary, wages, tips, and commissions to employees or yourself if you’re self employed
Paid Leave (any paid leave that isn’t covered by the Families First Coronavirus Response Act)
Employee Benefits Costs
Interest Expenses
Utility Expenses
And Rent or Mortgage Expenses
Supplies from Vendors
Protective Equipment
Property Damage Due to Public Disturbances

I found last night the first week of March is when the new changes take place for the new calculations for us little folks: sole proprietors, independent contractors, etc. Dug deep on SBA website updates on news release documents

Let me preface this with sba has stated this on the phone according to another YouTuber and I have also called and confirmed as well. We do have to show 25 percent deduction unless applying for the first time. We aren’t able to retroactively fix previous ppp loans that have already been processed. Unfortunately. Side note I own a moving and hauling company in slo ca I have seen your truck before some years back. Good stuff brother. We should collaborate. I’m also a painting contractor landscaper. I basically specialize in property renovations my dad was a landlord before he passed away 22 years ago seems like yesterday. I’m glade your profitable and thank you for helping these people that’s important. I dig your humor and peace of mind.
