Borromeo Island is located in the municipality of Cassano d’Adda (Milano - Italy); it is a river island, between the Adda river and the Muzza canal, which feeds a hydroelectric plant. It has large lawn spaces for free play, walking, environmental education, as well as a network of bycycle and pedestrian paths.
