Thank you for this review! I love this game. Please keep it in your collection. I missed it in KS, but was able to Pre-Order it and got it when it was released earlier this year. I play it with my 10-year old daughter who loves to paint. And this is the perfect game to play with someone who is new to gaming and wants a beautiful game to look at. Like you said, it is a unique game. You can even hang the box like a portrait! I for one ordered the Deluxe version and love the wooden pieces. We played it casually at first, just enjoying making our paintings and putting the cards together. After realizing you don't score much points, then the succeeding games became more "cerebral" and as you mentioned, this is a "thinky" game. People underestimate how hard it is to achieve the scoring and I believe this has helped my daughter become more analytical. I cannot praise this game enough. Definitely a delightful addition to all the zombies, IP, space and various other thematic games that deal with cards, deck-building and other scoring mechanisms. I will be backing the next KS for sure. Please keep it, Chris! :)

I miss the KS and thought exactly what you said, childish, but quickly I learnt this is such a good game doing what it supposed to

I skipped on the first Kickstarter. I talked myself out of it.
Now, after playing a friend's copy, I'm looking forward to backing it this time around.
The game is light, but fun and beautiful. I really enjoyed creating my "painting" and trying to compete at the same time. I made some very nice looking paintings 😃

Thanks Chris. Did you notice that the cards have a film of protective plastic on them all? It dulls the image a little but can be removed if you want. It took me a while to get the LoG.... :)

A friend of mine got the game. His biggest complaint was needing to remove the protective film from so many cards. :)

I also went to the BGG page and saw some people complain about the durability of the cards joining to your concerns. Anyway, these are things that a couple of adjustments on production and are solved. It seems a very interesting game.

Definitely a game I missed out and I'm super happy that they are having a campaign for an expansion. I'm getting this for sure but probably not the deluxe version if it.

Nice review, I'm thinking about it, skipped it initially because, well I just not a big fan of Dixit, which seems to arbitrary for me (I feel like I am the only one who doesn't love Dixit.) Initially the theme reminded me of Dixit.
