Your clear instructions just resolved and cleared the brake light, ABS, VSP, caution light on my 2006 prius on 1st first try. Yesterday, I failed to apply brake firmly on this 160+k mile prius, these trouble lights shown up, 2 front brakes stopped working and 2 rear brakes have a hard time to stop it. I know this is costly to fix at dealer, but found your excellent video. Thank you for your kindness to share info and may God bless you and your loved ones! Cheers... happy holidays!

Wow, I followed the footsteps you say in the video and I couldn't believe. I thought it was a joke, but I did and it worked. All the lights were erased and the car works perfectly. The brakes work very well. You saved me $1, 600 of ABS plus $960 of labor. Thank you very much, it's great.

This guy speaks truth. Just did it and it worked. As mentioned below if you don’t see the screen, the pin is not far enough in the holes. Thank goodness!! Thanks for making this!

Took longer to find a paper clip than the actual reset... 2012 Prius... Worked perfectly! Thanks!

OH MY WORD!! I was about ready to sell my 07 Prius for parts to a junkyard. Dealership had told me it would cost $3, 552 to repair ABS. It was not driveable. Stumbled upon your video. THANK YOU SO MUCH! You saved me tons! Has anyone had the brake problem return?

Dude. This fixed my problem. I replaced my front passenger brake caliper and my ABS just wouldn't work. I had to brake quickly a few times manually to get the system to actually brake instead of having the pedal go to the floor in order to activate the brakes. Tried your solution with a paperclip and now it works perfectly. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Liked, Subscribed, and Commented to help the Algo. Cheers my guy!

Thank you! I was at the dealer repair place yesterday for my tune up noticed those lights. Dude was honest with me, said the machine they use is $175 an hour plus labor...I said I would gamble on youtube. I just followed your directions...it worked perfectly. Thank you! You saved me stress and money!

HOLY COW!!!
2015 Prius. Abs traction control and brake light. All about actuator and brake “something ”. These are “bad news” lights.
Pretty scary.
Worked first try!! Car drives better than it did six months ago. Lol.

Still gonna have Toyota check the system and tell me I’m good though. People kept telling me to not even drive it. It HAD to be towed.
I’ll say if this works dude.
Wow
Thank you MUCH. !!

I found this video linked in a Reddit thread and my car owes its life to you and that Redditor who shared a link to your video.
I admit I was extremely skeptical about whether this could possibly work but it actually did. I still can't believe.
Thank you a million times for sharing this!!

Hello sir, thank you for your video. But I'd suggest being clearer as which of the holes the jumper cable/paper clip needs to go into. Your explanation was a bit vague, so I suggest actually showing the jumper installed for clarity. It is actually the 5th one from right to left on the top row and the 4th one from right to left on the bottom row. Again, I'm not knocking your video because you're in fact trying to help the Prius community save money and I appreciate that very much. I too changed the wheel bearing hubs on the front end of my 2009 Prius, and it caused these warning lights to come on, this was the fix I was searching for as I know that my brake system is operational.

Hey, GREAT JOB! You are to be HIGHLY COMMENDED for providing a fix for this problem. You have saved countless people from taking their car to the Dealers who are only too quick to invent problems to justify charging customers hundreds if not thousands of dollars. If they had awards for being a helpful human being, you should be voted for an award!

I cannot thank you enough for this video. I was scheduled for an appointment with Toyota and I knew they were automatically going to charge me $170 just to do a diagnostic (which pisses me off to no end) plus the cost of repairs. I did some research on the issue and you and others in the comments have said the same thing - they were going to tell me it was a bad actuator. I felt like I had to go to Toyota because problems with brakes are no joke and my husband uses this as his commuter car to work in the mountains and I didn’t want to take chances because the brakes kept lurching forward. This fixed the issue! Seriously man - THANK

3 years later. This worked great on my Dad's prius. He's been driving around with ear plugs from the obnoxious loud pitched sound cause he's too cheap to go to the dealer. Now, the car runs great with no lights!

Worked on the first try. My brake pedal was hard a rock to engage and this fixed it immediately. This problem started pretty soon after I had my tires changed so that might have been it. Thank you!

Very lucky to have found your video, young man. My 2012 Prius did not look like yours under the console- the white box you showed when showing where to insert the paperclip was not visible. The under console area in my car had a cover almost all the way under the steering column - same material as the dashboard. Though I was disappointed, before turning the car on I decided to pump the brakes 8 times real fast like you said, thinking it couldn't hurt. Turned the car on and to my delight, the lights for the ABS, Brake and Traction Control did not come on! A test drive confirmed the braking and smooth drive 'feeling' were restored. Thank you! We had an appointment with a dealer in two days. Thing is - these lights just randomly appeared on Sunday (today is Tuesday) - we did not have any maintenance or wheel bearing work done other than a standard oil change about 3 months ago. Sounds like this issue with the 3 lights may be a common issue - putting lots of $ into dealership's coffers. Thank you for helping me keep my hard earned money!

This was amazing. Had brake cylinder leak and air got into system. Apparently this caused the solenoid to close and needed to have brakes professionally bleed and reset. This worked. So much anxiety and grief solved. Thank you so much!

Thank you!!! I left my car on while replacing pads. I couldn't figure out what I had done wrong. I used your video to reset and presto!!! Brakes great now.
