Did you catch this in The Walking Dead? Although the performers portraying the zombies are great, they are unable to conceal their breath when it is freezing outside. The producers of the movie had to eliminate breath steam from the zombie figurines because they wouldn't otherwise be breathing, adding to the monsters' unearthly appearance. A lot of CGI is used in the show. A lot of it is predictable, but there are also small subtleties like that that elevate the program.
