It could benefit from a full system exhaust and a high flow air filter.

One could classify this as a "super sport" starter bike that should easily be a few grand cheaper than its selling for. If this thing came in at the 6-7k range, it be a home run.

We would need to see in gear roll on tests, 40-80 in 3rd or 4th for example to determine if the flash did anything. The new numbers are weak sauce for the claimed bump in power.

The newer Kawasaki models have a mode where if you dyno it, it’ll disable the quickshifter, toggling through power modes, etc. You have to do 3 rides (more than 10 minutes) averaging higher than 45 MPH and when you cycle it the 4th time, it’ll go back to being normal. Hope that helped anyone!

One video closer to a new exhaust!! Let's 😂😂😂
0-60 in 4 seconds shifting manually on a GOOD considering most cars aren't that fast unless you have something pretty spicy approaching 100k

I see lots of comments that "Now it's as fast as my Ninja 650/R7/SV650" for a lot more money. True. Subjectively, anything 650cc or bigger is going to be faster, but that's not the point. You have to ride a high revving 400cc bike first before making those comments. After riding one, you will either think it's the coolest thing you've ever ridden, or just won't be for you.
A big part of the experience is running it into a corner, downshifting 2 or 3 times, firing out of the corner running to redline in 2 or 3 gears then looking down at the speedo, and seeing you are barely over the speed limit, instead of being in license jeopardizing territory.

Yammie has good taste in watches too apparently. I recognize that Omega Speedmaster. I love mine!

a 4s 400 is wicked, this would be a great 2nd bike to ease into anything after it.

Finally! Can't wait to see the track video comparison with the prepped ninja 400!

Exactly as expected, a 130ish MPH bike. Nothing wrong with that, it's a faster 400.

I'd love to see a performance comparison between the Ninja ZX-4RR stock & tuned, versus a stock & tuned 2017 or later Ninja 650. I know the 2017+ Ninja 650 can do 0-60 in the mid 3's stock with a good launch, so I'd love to see a race between the two.

Yammi is turning into a Kawasaki Kyle.

Ditching the 3 cats and adding an exhaust will possibly help a little and natrually sound 👌.

OK, so some companies that flash, say they flash the bike with an aftermarket slip on and a stage 1 air filter. you seem to have gotten noticeable performance benefits without the aftermarket slip on and performance filter. so is it recommended or not to get those additional upgrades, with an ecu flash? thanks

You’ve got that R6 just sitting there, menacingly, looking like it wants to eat that ZX4R when you aren’t looking

Is it geared for the 50hp it makes as standard in the US ? Wonder if Kawasaki could tell you what gearing it has in other markets? Cool bike 😎

I am honestly shocked that this bike is just about 5mph faster than my 803cc twin scrambler. I knew jt wouldnt be as fast as its big brothers, but i didnt expect that to be all she has in her.

The only good thing about living in Austin is that you're close enough to Mexico to make test runs on the highways there.

I was here when u first got it, and i wanted to rip it.. BUT,
I'm coming around.
Watching how it behaves now.. Its an improvement for sure.
I would seriously consider putting my 600 aside and give it a go, if ever given the opportunity.
You dont really need more than 120 to have loads of fun, commute and enjoy life.120 is pro'lly too much.

Good power for sure. I'm a little skeptical of going from 134 mph to 142+ mph by just changing the gearing that would be a huge jump.
