And that’s coming from a diehard Buckeye.

But also a lifelong drummer (both kit and snare)

You wouldn't expect such drumming coming from a band that wears this traditional
uniform. Those "bus driver " hats! We wore those at Auburn back in the day. Hated those.
But what a drum line! Keep on drumming! Proof positive you can always overcome
the uniform hat! Ha!
