Man I wish this guy was my teacher, he breaks things down brilliantly and keeps the self defense element which so may clubs including mine don't do....thank god I do wrestling as well.

4:35 "See he has a nasty headlock, control, -" proceeds to do a takedown that set off a reading on a seismograph. His partner even winced afterwards 🤣🤣🤣

Second one was beautiful, definitely gonna remember cause the other ones the enemy will strengthen his grip and move his feet every time I try to move...
Thing is gotta be fast so that he doesn’t think I’m making a move

The 3rd one I've learned in aikido. We emphasized a little more smash and distance with the throw while drilling and no pin. Ive adapted it to stay close and take mount in my personal Jui jitsu journey. I was looking for some reassurance and additional pointers on the move, thank you. People always hate but the techniques between the arts over lap and came from the same place . Trick with any art is to find a good teacher. That is the hardest part of aikido. Every single day of open mat in bjj I sub some one with an a aikido technique. Easiest way to teach aikido technique to bjj guy is to never say the word aikido. Just pretend it's jui jitsu, which aikido is.

You can also go for a crucifix while you are on him after the take down, there are multiple versions of it but if you can get in the crucifix the guy can't punch you or get up but you can elbow him and punch him or even go for a kimura, he won't be able to do anything.
