Wyatt Johnston is so good. Only player other than Wayne to score a pp goal and a shorty in a playoff game under the age of over 90 years since this was tracked.

Since blowing the 3 goals lead in Game 1 and nearly blown a 4 goals lead in Game 2, the Stars defense and goaltending have improved significantly. The loss of Valeri really hurt Avalanche.

I'm shocked. I watched this game expecting to see the Avs be scary beasts but they just looked dead out there.

I get having guys missing, but seeing Georgiev hung out like that to dry was brutal. Stars look scary

Keep blaming Georgiev :D
21 - 4 in shots before the 2nd goal
where are that MVP guy and best defender in the league?

Dallas looks like they’re on another level confidence wise. And more consistent than Colorado offensively.

Ever since the end of game 1, the Stars have looked like the far better team. Game 4 is a good look on why. Man.

Georgiev played exceptionally well, but his team let him down with an inability to score on offense and a failure to clear rebounds from in front of the net on defense.

The Stars have had one of the toughest paths in the west but they're stepping up to the challenge and you can see that confidence building. Wyatt has been a stand out, what a playoff performer. Hard not to root for them if my Oilers get knocked out.

Hell of an unselfish move by Johnston to pass to Steel for the empty net. That’s a team player.

I said this last game. The stars have such an impressive propensity for success. They learn the other teams strengths and weaknesses super well and exploit them. Took them 7 to take down the defending champs, these guys are gonna close this series out in 5. Go Pete Deboer! Great coaching it seems to me!

When Georgiev is your best player you are S C R E W E D.

Dallas is absolutely dominating this series. They’re totally shutting down the avs top line.

Good series to the Stars. As an Avalanche fan, I know this series is most likely over for us. I hope you guys win, you deserve it, you have the experience, coaching, and spark to win the cup. Nichushkin and Toews departing spells defeat for the Avalanche. I know I should have more faith, but the last time Nichushkin wasn't in the playoffs, the Avalanche were defeated

This was the first game this post season that felt like Dallas was in control from start to finish. They controlled the play for virtually 60 minutes. I hope they can close out the series in game 5. The team needs some rest going into the finals!

I think Big Vals suspension messed a bit with the Avs.
Heiskanen has taken that last step now. He is truly absolutely elite, and Johnston is phenomenal.

Shout out to Dadonov.

Yknow, for a team often overlooked, you're playing some good hockey, Dallas.

The more I watch Dallas, the more I like their young core. Redo that 2021 draft and no way Wyatt Johnston falls to 23rd overall. Easily a top 10 maybe top 5 player in that draft class. Stars have so much depth, they can roll 4 lines and their defence core is pretty good too.

People may or may not remember, Val Nachushkin was a first round draft pick by the Dallas Stars. It was a very controversial pic, he had a record of getting into trouble as a young player in Russia but the Stars took a chance on him. I remember it was obvious he had a wealth of talent but for some reason, I believe in his second season with the Stars, he suddenly disappeared back to Russia. Dallas released him and Colorado picked him up. It has sucked, as a Dallas fan, watching Val reach the expectations we had for him but doing it with the Avs. However, this is the downside that comes with that player. He disappears for ""sudden family situations" one year, disappears for failed drug test another. It's sad, but trouble seems to follow this incredibly talented player.

Is Colorado aware that they don’t need to spot Dallas 3+ goals to start every game?
