Langsett Moor & Reservoir - The Dark Peak

The Dark Peak is in the South Pennines, which is where Langsett Moor & Reservoir is located. The walk was filmed late Autumn last year and the autumn colours on the trees throughout were spectacular. I'm afraid this took up a bit of my time in photography.

Flouch car park is free and situated on A616 Stocksbridge Sheffield. Our route follows a forest trail track before the moors, returning on the south side of Langsett Reservoir with stunning water views.

Hello Shanita and Michael. Some splendid autumn colours there. I'm glad you showed the old Peak and Northern Footpath Society sign as I've always liked that sign. The last time I was over that way was last year. I walked from near Langsett and wild camped on Margery Hill. Best wishes, Chris

Nice to see you in the Peak District Shanita. That was a lovely walk, looking beautiful with all those colours from the trees and the moorland heather. I love Langsett Reservoir, although not done the walk you both did here. Your musical soundtrack was very atmospheric, suited the video very well.
