Making a Wood Business Card Holder

Making a wood business card holder with maple, padauk, and sapele.

I cut the sapele first since they would be about the size I was looking for. Then I cut a piece of maple and ripped a couple pieces. Battery died, but I had a piece of padauk that was a little more than an 1/8" so I put that in there too.
I glued it all up and let it sit overnight. Came back and trimmed it up. Then I used a 1/2" roundover bit on just the top. I eyed up where I wanted the cards to be and made a couple marks. Then using my table saw I just took out a slot. Then I cleaned it up with the chisel.
Some sanding, mineral spirits and a few coats of satin polyurethane and it was done.
