John Mellencamp performs "Rain on the Scarecrow" at Farm Aid 2018 at XFINITY Theatre in Hartford, Connecticut, on September 22.

Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid's board of directors in 2001.

Kids, , , , this is what cigarettes and alcohol will do to you. always loved his music. If Kenny Arnoff is playing drums for John it just never sounds right.

God John looks bad, I know he had a triple bypass for his heart for smoking 4 packs of cigarettes a day even his voice got bad from that. God bless him in every way!!!!
