I think Michael was very spritual. Otherwise, he could not have borne such terrible persecution and slander on such a global scale together with all his childhood agonies and health issues. That he died with a last wish to build a hospital for children even after he paid such heavy price for being kind to children shows what he was inside. I always say Michael was a Pastor type of being underneath all of his showmanship and entertainment layers. So many people have searched, found, or grown closer to God through his music. We call him the King of Pop but on his best tracks they almost seem like Gospel songs, and performances were intricate and deliberate sermons.
