I actually stood next to a Leopard 2 when it fired. Our fireing Gepard B2L tanks on the adjoining range was finished and we all cleared the range so we could ditch ear protection.I was on the far right position onthe range and right next to my tank there was a Leopard 2. I thought they were finished as well so didn't pay attention. WHAM went the 120mm now I got a massive tinnitus for over 20 years. Wear ear protection kids.

Wow.... I'm a tank aficionado, and a huge fan of the Leo 2, yet I never knew there was such a thing as a stationary tank silencer for urban firing ranges until I watched this video. Thanks for the education!
