RIP Joe Sample. I give thanks to and old friend and a local DJ at the time by the name of Willie J. Robinson who introduced me to this album. I've been a fan ever since.

He was definitely unique. One of his final interviews he said that music was a "feeling" emotion. How RIGHT he was. Next to Billy Joel, he remains one of my TOP favourite musicians. I was privileged to have grown up listening to his music for that past 25-30 years. His contributions to the arts have left an indelible mark to say the least.

Met Mr Sample and the rest of the Crusaders back in the early 1980's. I was a sideman for an opening act at the time. What a guy! You had to strap yourself in before you heard him play. Thanks Joe for doing your part to help save and tame mankind.

I have been searching for this tune and the musician who had made this awesome work since 1992! From the same artist who brought us one of my personal favorites---"Carmel"---it was Joe Sample's "Rainbow Seeker". Thank you, Joe.
