I (and many more of my then colleagues) were very proud to wear our uniform, it's very sad that an armed forces uniform could make that soldier a target in his/her very own country, perhaps if we secured our borders, vigorously vetted genuine "asylum" seekers and had a common sense approach with a one strike and your out policy, maybe our streets would be not only safer for our very own armed forces, but also for our women, children and grandchildren, our backward spineless politicians are completely responsible for this bloody mess we're in, and all at our hardworking taxpaying expense, what a joke we've become as a once great and proud country!

Im a veteran who's son is serving now. These young men and women. Are the most patriotic people in this country. And every time without fail . We get shit on . No real help at all no thanks nothing. 🇬🇧

My son & daughter both this year told us they’ll finish their studies. To join departments they feel fit for themselves in the army. By law I have to tick British Indian (grandparents adopted my dad as a orphan. His parents were Hindu). Their reasoning… it’s clear our country is under threat. We have great equip but, not great numbers of male & female soldiers to make it even better. Sitting moaning about loosing our country helps no one. The way things are going my son feels architecture is not a dream he can pursue when a war is breaking out. It’s not about following their amazing granddads footsteps, it’s about stepping up for our country & people. To protect our people, land, seas & skies. Everyone is bloody fed up
