Jean Hailes work with Ethnolink

Culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) groups comprise a significant proportion of Australia's population. About one in three people living in Australia were born overseas, and more than one in five speak a language other than English at home (Australian Bureau of Statistics [ABS], 2016).

This video highlights some of the work we are doing at Jean Hailes for CALD communities, specifically our recent work with Ethnolink to translate some of our health resources to other languages, so that more women and girls around Australia can access the health information they need.

Jean Hailes for Women’s Health is a national not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving the knowledge of women’s health throughout the various stages of their lives, while also providing trusted, world-class clinical healthcare for women.

We believe in physical and emotional health and wellbeing in all its dimensions for all women in Australia throughout their lives.
