Nice old truck. Yep, am so glad somebody didnt dump a dime a dozen Chevy motor in it. Does sound like maybe a top end rebuild needed. I dont have the money anyways, so hate to be a critic! Definitely a head Turner if driven around!

My Dad had a 1950 F1, had a V8 flathead engine, manual shifter on the column, manual steering. You turned the key on and then pressed the starter button.

I would definitely have to have the classic truck i buy to easily be able to handle highway speeds. While pulling a small trailer with my Harley on the trailer for long trips.

Originally that was the starter button on the left side of the dash. My grandfather had a truck like this and I can’t tell you how many times I got in trouble when he would be checking his tobacco barns and I would be pushing the starter button with out turning the key and making the truck jump.😂😂😂 Yes, I was hardheaded.
