Every set of Pokemon games comes with it's version differences and with Pokemon Sword and Shield, it's no different! However one thing that was different about the gen 8 Pokemon games was that they included DLC, and The Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra also have their own unique version exclusive Pokemon, Legendary Pokemon, and Trainers. So if you haven't bought the games yet and are planning to pick up the Pokemon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass copies, then you might wanna take a look at all of the version differences before you go ahead and buy them. Just skimmed through Regieleki's stats. It has an unrivaled 200 base Speed, making it faster than Deoxys-Speed and Ninjask naturally. Damn, that is crazy!

I wanted to added that you also battle either klara or avery depending on your version, klara in sword, focusing on poison types, and avery, focusing kn psychic types

Meowstic male and female are also version exclusives in the wild (though you can still evolve either gender espurr)

Really quickly even if a legendary is exclusive in The Crown Tundra you can still mark where it was and go for it. I know this because I shiny hunted Solgeleo and I have shield. I did get the shiny solgeleo btw.

For some reason when I was playing Pokémon sword, I found 3 raids with pokemon only in shield, witch are Mandibuzz, Orangoru, and Toxicroak. (Plus G-max Gengar)

For some reason, Peonia stopped revealing the locations of the version exclusives, and now, I can’t find Thundurus and Palkia, no matter how many raids I go through in the Dynamax Adventure. Not that I really need Palkia or Regigigas, anyway; I transferred them in Pokémon HOME, from Shining Pearl. I’m also having issues with getting both split-decision versions (Regidrago and Glastrier, of course), and Zamazenta. It’s not like anyone wants to trade with me. Also, the Legendary trading and item transferring is just impossible in the Pokémon HOME app on my phone.

I joined someone and got latios and i have shield so def not to worry about legendary raids
