The fact that the FBI demanded the security cameras be turned off really says everything. Regardless of your political leanings just use your brain here.

They didn't allow you to observe their searches. Reminds me of the election where you were not allowed to observe the vote count.

My fear is, they are going to plant something or come out and say "Look what we've found". Kind of like the whole Steele Dossier fiasco.

The blatant disregard for equal justice is just sickeningly infuriating!!

Well when you don't want to be recorded it tells us all we need to know. How could it be legal to tell an attorney they can't watch? ?And why wouldn't the FBI want a lawyer to watch so they wouldn't be accused of planting evidence?

how the hell can you prevent someone's attorney from observing a search of their own property?

This is all a lie to cover their asses for breaking the law.

I am not an attorney but there are questions that beg answers.
What office did the 30 agents come from? Logic would say the Florida office of the FBI but there are unconfirmed reports the agents were flown in from DC.
If they came from DC, why did they waste the taxpayers money to have those specific agents flown to Florida?
When a warrant is served, my understanding is that it is SOP to provide a copy of the warrant to the owner/agent to retain. Did the FBI provide a copy for the owner/agent to retain?
If not, why did they breach protocol?
A judge must sign off to authorize a warrant. The plaintiff submits an affidavit to the judge detailing what crimes are in question and provide enough evidence in the affidavit to convince the judge.
What charges were listed in the affidavit? What evidence was presented in the affidavit? Has the evidence presented been verified?
Typically, when a warrant is served for non-violent crimes, the owner/agent is requested to be present to confirm the authenticity of the "evidence" discovered.
AG Garland stated that the attorney was on the premises. Moving with the search team and being in the parking lot are NOT the same thing.
According to Trump's attorney, she was not allowed to represent her client's interests. Why? Operating in total secrecy brings reasonable doubts on the validity of any "evidence" as to where it was in discovery and if it is indeed genuine. It wouldn't be the first time the FBI has acted outside the law according to James Comey.
The inventory of materials seized is supposed to be very precise and without ambiguity yet it shows vague descriptions such as "Photo album".
Are they personal pictures of weddings and vacations which have no cause for seizure or pictures of successful meetings with foreign dignitaries and heads of state? We don't know; ambiguity.
Since it is public record that Trump was cooperating with the FBI and the national archives and had provided boxes of requested documents just weeks before, what changed that could warrant a raid?

The FBI demanding that all recording devices at the home be turned off during the raid violates so many laws, and shows what their real intent is.

When he said that the FBI was patriotic, I almost threw up.. They are carrying out tyrant investigations.. My family has served in the military all the way back to the Union Army, I know what a patriot is.

They now need to sweep the whole house, and property for bugs, and hidden cameras.

The fact that they would not let his attorneys observe the search means there is no chain of custody and they can plant whatever they want.

This is a sad day when FBI raided an ex-President residence, tells them their Attorneys they can't supervise the search and you must turn off the surveillance system so no one can ever know what they were doing going through His Wife's undergarments ? SERIOUSLY ? ? ?

With the FBI as we know it in 2022, I’d be counting the silverware after they left.

If the FBI had nothing to hide, why did they tell the staff there to turn off the CCTV cameras-thank goodness the staff didn't because this may prove to be crucial going forward.

The FBI personnel involved in the search are dirty and disgraceful. I hope the pay is worth the dishonor you bring to this country. "Just doing your job" is not a valid excuse to do the wrong thing. God sees you.

"They didn't believe they even needed to show me the warrant."

That alone proves malfeasance. There is no ambiguity in this situation. There MUST be a valid warrant for a search like this to proceed where no permission has been given to the law enforcement by an appropriate person. They MUST show the warrant to those at the property. They don't get any choice in the matter. Refusal to show the warrant alone is grounds for declaring the search illegal and any evidence obtained during it inadmissible.

How do we know that the agents were not there to plant evidence.

This is such an abuse of power. They haven't really said anything whatsoever of substance that warrants what the raid was for. He talks about presumption of innocence, but the way they handled this, there was nothing whatsoever about this that suggests they proceeded on the basis of "presumption of innocence". Just fk'ng evil to the core.
