Gospel conductor adds spark to Crane Candlelight concert
Показать описание
The Crane Candlelight concert, an annual tradition at the State University of New York at Potsdam, features music composed and arranged by guest conductor Dr. Raymond Wise, a professor and choral director at Indiana University.
In the program this year, singers and musicians at the Crane School of Music perform five gospel pieces, under the direction of Dr. Wise. This marks the first year the music performance and music education students have worked with a guest conductor for the holiday show.
Crane Candlelight 2022: Let it Shine! premieres on Mountain Lake PBS Monday, December 19 at 8 pm. It repeats Tuesday, December 20 at 5 pm, Friday the 23rd at 2 pm, Saturday the 24th at 9 pm, and Christmas day at 2:30 pm.
Spotlight is made possible, in part, by the Glenn and Carol Pearsall Adirondack Foundation, dedicated to improving the quality of life for year-round residents of the Adirondack Park. Spotlight is also supported by Hill and Hollow Music.
