A 5d human being explaining the 4d concept of a wormhole in a 3d way by a 2d plane.

My favorite way of entering a wormhole is to watch a good YouTube video. I leave my reality, and I am transported through space and time to another person's alternate reality. It's fun!

Thinking about a 3 dimensional ramp passing through 4 dimensional space and then imagining falling off the 3d ramp and being lost in 4d space is a strange concept to try to visualise.

It would be cool to see a video on music sometime! There's a surprising amount of maths and physics in music (overtone series, temperament, polyrhythms, etc.) and it would probably make for an interesting video!

I assume you go underground like when you glitch in video games when you fall off the edge of space.

Like what happens if we fall off the path? Like we will exit the wormhole in another galaxy in a midway?

My favorite (at least fictional) explanation of a wormhole was from an episode of Stargate SG1 where our inhabited 3 dimensions were the surface of an apple and a wormhole was a tunnel through the apple with the universe itself not deforming.

Thanks for the effort but in spite of learning physics, I couldn't imagine this concept 😢

Okay but the first way was first shown to me by Satan-Sam Neil in Event Horizon.

I wish I was a spaceman, the fastest guy alive, I'd fly you through a wormhole in Fireball XL5

I think of wormholes as a permeability to our nonlocal selves where we are able to communicate in realms beyond time and space. This reinforces Zeno's paradoxes that exist within our "3D" world.

What would happen if we fell off space?

*Forward spinning a bouncy ball on one of those downwards escalators* like those conveyor belts at airports. You'd have to be conscious not to break any windows, though, which is a good general principle around planes.

COOL BEANS! 😂👍
What many Physicsts don't realize is that in extrapolating into higher spacial dementions you may spawn an additional time dimension which really complicates things as far as plotting a trajectory thru the higher dimension hoping to return to your local destination & not in a distant part of the universe at a different time.

Taking space, like a blanket, and pulling it through itself, warping a hole into it's surface, then you enter the drawn fabric bump, and release it, flinging yourself into the original position of that drawn space,

Have you ever considered? What keeps your atoms going and the electron exchange? In a constant feed through yourself, I'll be electrical energy. You fell out of life. I imagine is the best way to put it.

A new model. Interesting; as always. Which is more accurate?

Now I am not gonna be able to sleep thinking about what 'Falling off space' would involve.

A 3d version would correspond to a gravitational lens effect. But we still be in the same universe!...nice video!

This makes more sense. Curious thinking about how this would work in 3D!
