Ravine | Dark Ambient | Digitone/Digitakt, Lyra-8, Eurorack

With all of the cool Syntakt spam coming out, I felt like I needed to explore a little sound design on the Digitone and started from initialized patches. This moody, cinematic harmony emerged.

Digitone on pad, arp, and bass. Basimilus Iteritas Alter and DPO sequenced by Digitone making the twinkly lead and raucous FM drone, respectively. And Lyra-8 coming in with the distorted square wave siren sounds. Everything getting squashed into Digitakt's compressor, sidechained by the kick, and recorded into Ableton. Finally squashed a little bit more, and then a stock mastering preset thrown on for good measure.
