I am really enjoying Clive Owen’s performance. He’s impersonating Bill but he’s still acting and making his own choices.

He introduced himself just as Bill to disarm her, invites her into his office, goes for the booze, shows interest in her as a person...he’s very good at this.

It's tough to do such a dead-on impersonation of a President and also disappear into the character completely and portray him as a three dimensional, flawed human. Mad respect to Clive Owen.

Wow I gotta watch this. American crime story is top notch. What they did with the oj simpson story, it was like it was happening all over again & people were turning in just like during the trial. U could feel in the scene Clinton's charming yet creepy predatory nature towards this young woman. " I like ur sweater " yea bill i bet u do! I cant believe thats Clive owen. Great make up job. He does Clinton's voice well w/o it being a snl caricature.
