My dad told me the Jamaican radio station would play Marjorie Josephs on Sunday evenings while the morning you got music from the Sandpipers, Herb Alpert etc but the Jukeboxes would play Otis Redding. Jamaicans embraced soul music like it was theirs. A great love for the creative genius and talents of Afro Americans.

This song always reminds me of my childhood growing up in Trinidad and Tobago. As a child I would always run to the radio everytime I heard it. Beautiful song and still sounding great in 2024.

We claimed Margie as our Queen in New Orleans growing up. She was married to a local DJ. This was Margie at her best!❤💯👏

This song played a lot on the radio stations in my homeland Barbados. I could never get enough of it. It always has and will always be, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful songs ever.
