As Karai grieves for her father's death, she relishes the day when her family is finally free from the Shredder. He may have raised her but he never showed her the pride and love that Splinter did in the short time that they had together. There's also the fact that he's delusional, vindictive, and monstrous ... overall a terrible human being.

I watched this last night and the tears just came as soon as the lyrics hit hard for many reasons. This song relates to Karai on so many levels, the show is gone forever, and because this just made me relive the best moments of Karai how much I love her as a character.
