I wont lie that adding complexity to the locking mechanism scares me. I just had my Mac box seize on me. The lock rods didnt snag a tool, it was the rails, and the springs that were too much (its an antitheft measure to prevent flipping, but honestly its easier to cut through it that flip the box anyway).

Eventually had to drill a hole in it, but now I cant get the tumbler replaced (the source of the main issue). Its an old 9000 series box from 87 (the 50th anniversary), but it seems that theyre no longer covered. Waiting on hold now to see where I can get the tumbler.

UPDATE: Giving you guys credit. You had the lock tumbler in stock, two keys, and at a very good price. Bought a spare one as well. Keep this up! This is why people will by pro boxes and not your Husky whatever brands.

No chrome sides? Sorry. Snap on boxes are wayyy nicer... However I use two 1/2 Mac Aw434, s as my impacts one from the 1980s and one from 2011. And have a DeWalt Addiction.. I hate the look and feel of the snap on cordless& air impacts .
