Today in this PayPal donation button tutorial, I share how to collect donations on any website.

PayPal allows you to simply create a free donation button that you can then embed onto any website.

I share how you can embed the PayPal donation button on WordPress, Google Sites and Wix.

Although this is free to set up on any type of website, it is important to note that PayPal will charge a fee on each donation processed (PayPal Personal and Business).

This is a great video. In the US we have a 501c3 organization and we can issue thank you letters to the donor. That letter, in turn, is presented for tax benefits at the end of the year. Is there a way to auto generate a form letter thanking the donor for their donation? Or does PayPal do this automatically in the receipt that is sent to the donor after donation?

Stewart, how do you add the bank account or card for the donations to go to? If I just add the card details under link a card, would the donations automatically go to that account?

I have a business account and the UI is completely different. I did find the donate app and when clicked on it just sends me back to the dashboard (stuck in a loop). Can anyone advise? I finally found the buttons page clicked on donate and get the same loop right back to the dashboard. I give up.

Hi there, great video thank you. The PayPal experience for charities has gotten so much better over the years. I am confused about one thing still, in the UK. The PayPal Giving Fund doesn't charge fees, they make that quite clear. They also make it clear that if you have a charity account then the fees are 1.4% plus 20 of each transaction. Which is true? Is it free or is there a charity rate transaction fee? Any help you can offer is so very gratefully received :)
